The other night Phil, Alex and I went to the Festival of Trees with some of his family. We had a great time looking at all the Gingerbread houses and beautiful trees. Unfortunately, I didn't take many pictures of the trees due to a dead battery in my camera...way to go Des! I did, however, get some shots of Alex (of course) when we were in the cute kiddie area. They had so many things for kids to do and they were so cheap-just my kind of fun!
There was a cool "Bubble Machine" that Alex couldn't wait to try, but as soon as she was up there....well, she wasn't exactly excited about it!

They could also get manicures, so of course we HAD to get her nails painted! She was so proud of her beautiful "finner" nails and ring.
My sister-in-law, Lauri Carrigan, now has her Christmas album out and it is amazing! She sang at the Festival of Trees this year, and is planning on preforming next year too! So, make sure to check out her album, "Christmas Wish"(which can be found at Deseret Book or on iTunes), and mark your calendars for next year's Festival of Trees! You won't be sorry!
