first of all, shame on us for not taking more Christmas pictures.
although we took a lot of video, but these are the two pictures i want to share because they are too cute.
as you can see, macy has discovered the "cheesy smile" and with those cheeks it's too cute not to take pictures of.
and she also discovered the apple we were planning on leaving the reindeer with santa's cookies, and ate the entire thing on her own!

next morning the girls got a little spoiled from santa.
i think he forgot that they are just little kids that like the boxes, but we, i mean he will just learn from this year.
santa had all of alex's presents that she had asked for, but then honestly five days before Christmas alex kept begging for a zhu zhu pet. and she was sure that santa wouldn't forget and that he knew that she wanted one. yikes. he didn't want to crush her Christmas spirit so he quickly found one to give to her.
she opened all of her presents and didn't find her zhu zhu pet until her last gift. i've never seen her so excited.

but the best thing about Christmas was being surprised with a NEW SEWING MACHINE!!
am i lucky or what?!?
i had no idea that phil had secretly researched which machine is the best and matched prices to get me the coolest machine (within a reasonable price range, of course)! with a ton of functions and features. 69 to be exact.
i love my husband.
and my new machine!
oh, yeah, and phil got an iPod touch.
he loves it.
and was happy.
real happy.
i also forgot to mention that we visited temple square to look at the lights.
i am getting so lazy at this blogging stuff!
and yes, i cut myself out of the picture because it wasn't a very flattering picture of me!
but boy i sure love these three cuties.
Christmas is a wonderful time.
and even more wonderful when you have children that make more magical.
