hallelujah!

alex started preschool this last tuesday!
{can i get a hip hip?!?}

and what makes it even better is that girl goes 3 days a week!!!
{wish it was 4....so does she. she loves that place!}

she goes to the greatest preschool; Adventure Preschool.
where the teacher is in her 70's and her hair is still naturally the perfect shade of black.
and MAN does it have volume!!!

the first day of every week at school is a certain "color".
they encourage the kids to wear something that color of the week and to bring a show and tell with that color on it as well.
tuesday was "red day"

so, as you can see, she is wearing the "color" of the week.
i found it adorable when alex said {more like screamed it}, "MOM! i can bring my doll that grandma gave me! she has red hair!"
too cute.

day two.
does not have to be to school until 9:00, but she still had to wake up at 6:00 am because she couldn't sleep; therefore neither did i.

day three.
that is a fake grumpy face, she was being so goofy.
she was excited that she would be going to school one more day than last year {as was i}.

it's fun for her to go back to school because she loves to learn, her best friend is still in her class, and so is her crush. rocco, what a stud.
{i have a feeling i might be getting a call soon saying she was chasing rocco and tried to kiss the kid. go alex! that'a girl!}
but i love the fact that i am able to spend more one on one time with macy...something that is not really possible with big sis around.

can't wait until tuesday!
it's "yellow" day. ha! don't know that she owns anything yellow. guess i'll have to make her something!
